We’ll coordinate location, food, bar, entertainment, décor, and every last detail from elaborate holiday events to intimate gatherings. Our menus are quite diverse including Cuban, Moroccan, Mexican, Indian, and Asian to name a few. We guarantee fresh, delicious, creative food and a professional, diligent staff.

Jeffrey Kramer, Chef and owner of Chanterelle graduated from the California Culinary Academy in 1988. Since then he has gained invaluable experience by working at many prominent Beverly Hills hotels such as the Beverly Wilshire. Jeffrey later expanded his creativity as Sous Chef at Border Grill Santa Monica with his signature mushroom dish. In 1998 Jeffrey started his own business as a Private Chef, working as a personal chef to many in the Entertainment world as well as others in Los Angeles. His creativity, skill, confidence and passion for cooking created a buzz within the industry and soon found him in demand to create diverse menus and large theme parties, upon which Chanterelle Catering naturally evolved. Jeffrey’s wife, Cheryl Kramer, is the Event Coordinator and together they custom design each event, organizing affairs into unforgettable experiences!

My love for Latin American and Caribbean culture prompted me to start up My catering business several years ago. Also, I love to cook, and have travelled extensively through the Caribbean and spent a good amount of time in the Cuban districts of Florida (namely Miami, Key West and Ybor City which is in Tampa).

Several years ago I noticed the growing demand for Nuevo Latino and Caribbean cuisine. I like to morph these two types of cuisine together and call it "Caruban"...ca-ROO-ban...... cuisine that has both Caribbean and Cuban influences.

My menus aim to please all palates and appetites, and accommodate any special dietary needs; I can design a menu specifically for your event. All foods are purchased fresh daily, with an eye toward good health and great flavor.
